The Institute, known as GADAAY, features a program devised for the personal, educational, social, and cultural development of All America's Youth. It is sponsored by the Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County, MD. The Institute is facilitated by members of the Iota Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

The activities are centered on three school age groups: 

• 9th grade
• 10^th & 11^th grades
• 12^th grade

Each group has at least one advisor who is assisted by other members of the sorority. The groups are comprised of boys and girls.  Male mentors from other organizations may also assist advisors.
