Student Summer Employment in the Federal Government
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other Federal government agencies and departments are looking for bright, energetic and talented students that would like a paid summer internship working as a clerk in the Washington, DC office.  Most position's pay range starts at is $10.60 (GS- 1) and ends at $14.59 (GS-4). Your pay will be based on your education and/or work experience.

To be eligible you must be a high school or college student  currently enrolled on a full time or at least a half-time basis in an accredited high school, technical, or vocational school or a 2 or 4 year college, university or professional school.

VA will be accepting applications for its summer intern program until Monday, April 26, 2010.
